Star-MP
DRB's core product Star-MP, a fabric belt made of polyester and nylon, has
been supplied to global markets for many years. It has top quality fabric materials
range from 80PIW/Ply to 300PIW/Ply, and features unbeatable excellence in durability,
trough ability and adhesiveness. The most commonly produced heavy-duty fabric
is a polyester/nylon blend, also known as EP fabric.
Polyester plays an excellent role in preserving tensile strength against moisture
with its characteristics of low elongation, while nylon offers fantastic impact
resistance based on a small modulus and stretch ability. This provides a minimum
safety factor of 10 and a low elongation of less than 2% under 100% working
tension.

* Maximum impact ratings are based on 10% lumps, with 90% fines(or sized material
up to 4" lumps).
Impact ratings is based on the use of rubber impact idlers and good design to
loading and transfer conditions.
If rubber impact idler or beds are not used, impact ratings is decreased by
half or less.
** N/R : Not Recommended
Trough ability and load support tables can be dependent on cover guages and
compounds used.
